Spring has sprung and I have launched a new set of sweater patterns: LOOP HOLE cardigan and LOOP HOLE pullover patterns are now live on Ravelry and LoveCrafts!
During the pandemic, I have tended toward easy, gratifying knits with rhythmic stitching and just enough interest to keep me going. LOOP HOLE definitely fit the bill! I have knit 4 of them… LOOP HOLE is an all-in-one piece sweater knit from the bottom-up with a mix of polish and ease, making it an everyday, go-to sweater.
I have actually knit LOOP HOLE in 2 different sizes: M sized pullover and cardigan above, as well as a S size cardigan below for a little more fitted look. You can choose your length, the number of colors you want to use and whether you want a pullover or cardigan (there are 2 different patterns)! In any event, your LOOP HOLE will be a sweater that you enjoy knitting AND wearing.
I knit 2 of mine (the 4 color LOOP HOLE pullover and the 2 color LOOP HOLE cardigan) in one of my favorite indie dyer yarns: Jill Draper Makes Stuff Mohonk Light. Locally sourced and beautifully dyed, this 100% sheep to skein USA made yarn is squishy and soft enough to wear directly against your skin. And the colors are simply AMAZING! Jill updated her shop yesterday, so head over and get some Mohonk Light and start knitting!
The longer version of the LOOP HOLE cardigan in the first photo is knit in another of my favorite indie dyer yarns, Ritual Dyes Maven, which I bought at my LYS Wild Hand! I love Rachel’s color sense and the 100% Rambouillet Wool has so much texture and stretch!
