The next in the ‘Building Blocks” series: NO TAILS!

Over the next few days, we will be introducing the remaining 3 sweaters in what I call the “building blocks” series. All 4 sweaters are based on a modern, simple silhouette that has been adapted to accommodate different necklines, hemlines and sleeve lengths, each knit in 1 of 8 different Shibui yarn combinations, each of which significantly alters the sweaters’ look and utility.

We started a few months ago when we introduced tails, a simple, modern tee shown in Twig with elbow length sleeves for a perfect summer top. Today, we introduce no tails knit in Pebble with long sleeves and a cowl neckline.

Knit on a US #5 needle (or size to obtain gauge), Pebble has an ethereal look and luscious, nearly weightless feel, resulting in the perfect layering piece for Fall. In contrast to tails, no tails features a straight hemline and can be knit with either a crew or cowl neckline.

You can change the look and feel of no tails, or any of the building blocks series designs, by changing your choice of yarn.
