A quick post to let everyone know that a KAL for VERSACIKNITS flora will be starting in the VERSACIKNITS knitters group on ravelry on May 10th (no worries if you are late, we will still be there). You might feel a bit intimidated by the look of this scarf/ shawl, but it is really not difficult. You work in 5 stitch increments to make what is called “deconstructed stockinette stitch”. And we will all have a lot of fun working on it together!
For those of you who are a bit more adventurous, some of us, including me, are going to try to learn how to knit forward and backward (it is called tinking which is “knit” backward)! That way you won’t have to turn your work!
Our KALs are very relaxed, lots of fun chatter and there will be prizes! So come to the VERSACIKNITS knitters group and join the flora KAL thread…
You may also want to check with your local yarn store — there are a few that will be joining us from their shops.
